Then there are all the falls you see as you hike or drive anywhere. We deemed them "Under Appreciated Waterfalls of Iceland." Some are listed on maps, others don't even show up as a blue line indicating a river. I imagine in the spring and early summer there are hundreds more that last only as long as there is snow and ice melting in the mountains. The one shown here that I'm posing in front of was falling off the mountain behind the house we rented for a couple nights. The pictures I took of Seydisfjordur and the echo sculpture were taken from just above the falls.
