Time to Learn How to Sing

Thought I'd take advantage of being home with just the dog for a couple weeks to try and figure out how to sing and play at the same time.  This is a screen shot from a Karaoke website and the first song I tried.  I'll blame it on the timing, I just couldn't stay focused enough to get it.

Four Wheel Slide

A foot of snow, followed by 50 degrees with rain, then subzero for a few days.  Come to think of it, I haven't seen the neighbors coming or going as often as usual.

Neighborhood Art

You can get pissed off about people not shoveling their walks or you can have fun with it.  I choose both.  The neighbors in the top picture left town without making arrangements to have their walk shoveled and people walking by for three days packed it down pretty firmly.  A shoveler's nightmare unless you have the right shovel, then it comes up in a few seconds as great chunks for stacking.  Nice to have neighbors who appreciate art.  If they don't see it before it rains today and then freezes solid in below zero temperatures tomorrow it could be permanent art.
The bottom picture is adjacent to our property and gets cleared frequently by me, less frequently by the owner.  Sorry I don't have video of people walking up this, they were either laughing hysterically or seething, ready to pummel someone with a golden shovel.

Not The Smoothest Run

The skiing is good, get out there to your favorite trails.  If you're not inclined, sit back and enjoy the latest video of Bean on the South Hill Rec Way.  It didn't go quite the way it usually does like this run from January of 2010 because the path was too pock-marked with footprints.  Bean hasn't been out much this year and was clearly sore in a back leg from pulling our neighbor for a few miles yesterday so I had to coax him off the couch to go out this morning.  Now I may have to take a few days off which you'll understand when you see this video.  Hope he'll share the couch with me.
