Winter wry

They laughed back in the eighties when we talked about global warming. 20 years later they've learned nothing; they laughed when I planted winter rye at Thanksgiving. Well here's how it looks on Christmas, let's hope we aren't harvesting for Valentine's Day.

A sign of Christmas

I've been hanging these ornaments around the house for years, but this year a tree made its way into the picture! Can't wait until after Christmas when people put their trees out by the road, I put them up in our garden and they stay green until spring.

What's happened to winter?

There's certainly no snow for skiing, so I headed out (barefoot) to the garden today and found the garlic coming up already!

So this is Christmas?

Looks like Santa can't wait for a little snow either! Might be a rough trip off the mountain...

The Columbia St. Sessions

Thanks to Matt and Willy for coming to the house to lay down some tracks yesterday. Matt's the tech-guy, if it can make you sound good, he's got it. Will brings an energy to every session that just makes you want to play your guts out. And Zooey holds it all together. Thanks to all three of you.

The Columbia St. Sessions

That's a mighty big microphone!

The Columbia St. Sessions

Zooey takes a breather after hauling all the gear in. Hey I know she has heart disease, but I had to get into the moment and prepare myself for some serious playing.
