White Mountains, NH
We still had about a mile to go and just over 1000' to climb so we had a snack, dropped our packs and changed into dry clothes and made it up to the summit. It's a bit of a circus up there thanks to a road for cars and a cog railroad, but I found a beautiful card to send to my mom and the museum was pretty neat with a great display of photos by Brad Washburn. That second picture gives a good idea of how rapidly conditions can change, the difference between bright sunshine and thick fog is a few hundred feet, and it moves fast.
One thing I didn't find was a more appropriate bumper sticker than "This Car Climbed Mount Washington" so I improvised:
