White Mountains, NH
We ended the trip with a stop in the southern Adirondacks to visit Gail's brother and family. I wasn't quite done hiking so went out one last day to make it an even 14 consecutive days of hiking and climbed a fire tower on Kane Mountain for a view of the lakes and small hills in that region. But not before taking a wrong turn and finding myself in one of those detestable campgrounds where the motor homes have permanent spots with a deck added on and in this case a golf cart and Halloween decorations. One last bit of hiking took me past Stewart Lake before stopping at East Stoner Lake for a quick swim.
What a great trip.
