The flood from the beginning of the month washed out part of the Finger Lakes Trail in Shindagin Hollow, the section I maintain. A repair job like this wouldn't be the responsibility of the section adopter, but I was glad when Trails Chair and friend, David, asked me to help him fix it. He designed and prepped everything at home and we just tossed it in his truck and took it out to be assembled. I also tossed a couple hundred rocks along the bank that has been washed out in the hopes that it will prevent more erosion.
