Tidal marshes, beaches, estuaries, all great places for boardwalks. As an inland lake kind of guy I never get used to the tide when I experience it, and this area has some of the greatest tide variations on the east coast. The bottom two pictures are taken from reversed spots, when we got there the tide was pretty high, almost to the bottom of the boardwalk, by the time we left the boardwalk was over mud. That's Gail up on the balcony and walking away, she had to go look for more sharks' teeth while I watched birds.
