The camera I got for $1 at a yard sale has been replaced with a gift from a student who never used her fancy camera after she got a smart phone. I couldn't see the screen on my flip phone due to wear and tear and also felt I was missing out by not being able to see emomjis so got a pretty smart phone, I'm still learning and don't want to pay for data so we'll see how far I go with that. It does take nice pictures though.
And the pen and paper are a thing of the past with the laptop available. That happened years ago.
