26. St Paul to Madison, via Duluth

I visited the Capitol again.  Since the massive protests in 2011 against Gov. Walker's efforts to end collective bargaining and other nonsense, a small group has continued to converge every day at noon to sing songs of protest.  The republican controlled legislature passed a law banning assembling here, and Walker signed it into law.  Of course the best way to turn a small protest into a large one is to arrest people, especially veterans holding flags, firefighters in uniform, 14-year-old girls and octogenarian grandmothers.  So I joined in the spectacle.  No arrests the day I went.
