The trail I've been messing with in the Wildflower Preserve for 12 years has found its true route. I wanted to adjust it one last time to follow the contour rather than go up a steeper hill. I'm happy with it and it has held up to some heavy rains and appears to be getting a fair amount of use. My new hand truck to use in the woods worked great for both woodchips and stones.
The stone steps are like an old house: they always need adjustments. I switched out some smaller ones with ones I hope will stay put better, leveled a couple, and flipped one around so the feng shui has better chi.
