We had quite the year in the ENL department at IHS. Bailey had to leave part way through the year to deal with some serious health setbacks, but came to visit when we had our end-of-year party.
Two amazing students joined us temporarily: one from Israel and the other from Belgium. I've been better about not posting photos of students on here, as per law, but both of these are no longer students in the school, and they both love the blog so they wanted their pictures on it.
Nore and Ella were instant friends when they met, and we all loved having them in our program. They had this way of bickering playfully and one day it dawned on me to refer to them as the Bickering Twins. So we enjoyed a dinner at the Bickering Twins restaurant (one of my favorites), and evening around town at the end of the year.
Dora kept us on our toes for the four years she was with us. She was only half-devil. Going to miss her too.
One of the most self-assured people I've had the pleasure of knowing.
Three people who made me love my job, and the good fortune of getting to know immigrants from all over the world.
