On the Water

   I had a couple good reasons to use the kayak in August.  First, the continuing efforts to limit the invasive water chestnut presence in the city reservoir.  We're staying ahead of it, so far.  

  The other event was the annual Women Swimmin' to raise money for Hospicare.  It was a beautiful day and several hundred swimmers and boaters raised almost $600,000 this year.
